“I’ve always been a communicator. Anyone who knew me at a young age would tell you that I was never without words. As I got older, my love of words never waned — but I began to understand how and when I used my words mattered just as much as what my words were. And that has deeply informed the work that I’ve done, as well. 

I grew up in Bloomington, Indiana and graduated from Indiana University in 2009 before moving to Madison, Wisconsin in 2018. My husband Matt and I are lucky to be raising three amazing daughters and enjoy the company of our family dog Sam.

Most of my professional experience has been in nonprofit communications and marketing, but I have also worked with agencies and larger corporations, as well. The common thread in these roles is that they’re all about communicating. Well, that and people. My work has always involved people. I love when I can help people + brands tell their stories and communicate more effectively. That’s it. That’s the bottom line.
